Brighter Futures Zanzibar is a transformative initiative designed to bridge the education gap by establishing community-based learning centers in every village, fostering an environment where children can thrive, dream, and build brighter futures.
Our mission: To ensure that every child in Zanzibar, regardless of location, has access to quality, inclusive, and inspiring learning opportunities.
Project Goals
- Ignite Learning by establishing 50 Learning Hubs in remote villages of Unguja and Pemba.
- Empower Communities by training 100+ local youth and women as community educators.
- Bridge the Digital Divide by providing solar-powered tablets with offline e-learning resources.
- Promote Equity in Education with inclusive learning materials for girls and children with disabilities.
- Strengthen Lifelong Learning by offering adult literacy and vocational skill workshops.
